Why We’d Rather FIRE Than RESTORE

This is a very thought-provoking article about how churches deal with “fallen” or “struggling” pastors.  Sadly, the “industry best practice” is to simply fire and move on.  The desire to see restoration is pretty much non-existent.  This article asks “why”?  Is there a better way forward?  A more Biblical way?

Stop Dreaming

A few days ago I wrote a guest blog for The Next Leadership Association on leadership. Here is a bit of it:

Seeing visions become realities is one of the most exciting feelings in the world — especially if you are a leader. But watching dreams and visions fizzle can also be the most frustrating thing in the world.

Do you know anyone who has a great vision but is frustrated because they can’t move it forward?

I know dozens of people like that — and sometimes they frustrate me…
